By far one of my favorite San Diego Weddings of the year was at the Morgan Run Golf Course in Del Mar with Kevin & Mia.  The food and wedding decor was amazing and so well thought out.   It was a fun filled day with beautiful weather and amazing people sharing in the celebration.  Congratulations and thank you for allowing me to be apart of it!

Her white wedding dress was amazing!Timeless bride portrait.  Loved these!Morgan Run Golf Course wedding venue.  The ceremony site looks out over the golf course.getting some creative bridal portraits.Their first kiss as husband and wife. The cocktail appetizers looked yummy.The wedding reception table details were awesome and showcased favorite quotes from well know celebratory chefs.They served local San Diego award winning Stone Pale Ale beer. More appetizer deliciousness before the main course.

Greg & Caroline Homecoming Portrait Session

San Diego Photographer photographing a surprise homecoming portrait session with Greg & Caroline at Balboa Park. I had the opportunity to photograph Greg and Caroline’s Wedding last year at MCRD.  I had a great time hanging out and getting to know them.  Shortly after their honeymoon, Greg was scheduled to leave for a tour in Afghanistan for several months.  One of the cool things that came out of that situation was that Greg was able to come home early and surprise Caroline for an early homecoming.  How cool is that! Here are some photos from the vintage themed photo session at Balboa Park.

found this awesome door as we were heading to our next location so we had to get a couple shots.  pretty awesome!these two were such a cool couple.  they were so chill just letting me shoot away.loved this brick background for this shot along with the shadow contrast.  this shot was taken in front of where they first met.
Headed to Coronado for some fun sunset and beach photography photos.  We’re feeling pretty relaxed!

San Diego Wedding Photographer

San Diego Wedding Photographer photographing an engagement session with Remy & Katie at old poway park. photos by Ian Andrew Photography.

Old Poway Park views are amazing.  We started shooting on the railroad tracks that surrounds the park. It was a hot day so we took it slow at first.  These guys couldn’t keep there hands of each other.
I had such a great time hanging out with these two.  I am looking forward to photographing their wedding next year.  The sun was setting and blasting through the trees.  Had to take advantage of the beautiful light.  I think one of the best spots at Old Poway Park is the the old barn that houses the vintage trains. The texture from the old looking wood pops out at you when the sun is setting.This was a great opportunity to grab a few shots of their dog.  We finished up the shoot with some creative off camera lighting and got this amazing shot of them being backlit on the train tracks.
